About the school

Město Albrechtice is located northwest of Krnov near the border with Poland and has approximately 3,600 inhabitants including its urban districts.

The ZUŠ itself is located on the main road connecting Krnov and the Czech-Polish state border. The building is surrounded by a large garden, the dominant feature of which is a garden gazebo. It is used primarily for open-air performances for children and also brings visitors an unusual cultural experience. Since 2005  the school building has undergone a number of partial renovations and reconstructions. From the replacement of the roof and boiler to the replacement of windows, a new facade, the renovation of the building, landscaping, and the reconstruction of the interior. It is certainly worth mentioning the increase in the capacity of the concert hall at the expense of unused attic space where two more classrooms were created.
